Nov 11, V7N-At the 2024 MTV Europe Music Awards (EMAs) in Manchester, Taylor Swift led the night by winning four awards, marking a successful evening for female artists. Swift took home awards for Best Artist, Best Live Performance, Best US Act, and Best Video for her collaboration with Post Malone on "Fortnight." Although she could not attend, Swift shared a recorded message expressing her gratitude.

South African singer Tyla also enjoyed a strong showing with three wins, including Best R&B, while Sabrina Carpenter took Best Song for "Espresso." Hosted by Rita Ora, the ceremony celebrated its 30th edition and was held in the UK for the seventh time.

Swift was a top nominee with seven categories following her album The Tortured Poets Department. Other notable winners included Lisa from K-pop group Blackpink, Ariana Grande, Eminem, and Liam Gallagher. Additionally, Busta Rhymes was honored with the Global Icon Award.

This year’s EMAs highlighted female talent and marked a return after the 2023 awards were canceled due to the Israel-Hamas conflict.
