During Ukraine's bombardment of a settlement in the Donetsk People's Republic, Zvezda TV reporter Daniil Piontkovsky suffered injuries to his leg, according to Zvezda's Telegram channel.

"During the shelling of Panteleymonovka, a war correspondent of Zvezda, Daniil Piontkovsky, was wounded in his leg," according to the report.

The Ukrainian military launched the bombardment with a HIMARS multiple launch rocket system.

Denis Pushilin, the leader of the Donetsk People's Republic, earlier reported on his Telegram channel that the Kiev troops shelled Panteleymonovka early on Saturday morning, resulting in four fatalities and six injuries. Three 155 mm rounds were launched by the Ukrainian armed forces at 06:20 a.m., according to the DPR's delegation to the Joint Control and Coordination Center (JCCC) for problems pertaining to war crimes in Ukraine.

Dmitry Shevchenko, the chairman of Yasinovatsky municipal district, claimed that a child born in 2009 had passed away and that a boy born in 2015 and a girl born in 2013 were among the injured.
