Tehran, June 14 (V7N) — Iran has issued a stern warning to Israel, threatening to escalate its military response if Israeli forces continue their offensive operations.
The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) released an official statement on Saturday night (June 14), shortly after Iran launched retaliatory attacks on Israeli targets.
According to the statement, Iran specifically targeted Israeli facilities involved in producing and supplying fuel for fighter jets. The IRGC emphasized that these strikes were part of Iran’s defensive response to Israel’s earlier attacks on Iranian territory.
"If the Zionist regime continues its aggression, Iran will intensify its attacks," the statement warned, signaling a potential escalation of the conflict in the coming days.
Additionally, the IRGC claimed that Iran’s air defense systems successfully intercepted and disabled three incoming cruise missiles, 10 drones, and several micro UAVs during the hostilities.
The latest developments come amid heightened tensions between the two countries following Israel’s major airstrikes on Iranian military and nuclear facilities earlier this week. Both nations have engaged in tit-for-tat attacks, raising concerns of a broader regional conflict.
As of now, the situation remains tense, with no immediate signs of de-escalation.
