Tehran, June 27 (V7N) – Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei addressed the nation in a televised speech on Thursday, declaring Iran’s triumph in the 12-day war with Israel and condemning US intervention.

“I congratulate you on your victory against the fake Zionist government,” Khamenei said. “They have been crushed and destroyed under the pressure of the Islamic Republic.”

Khamenei accused the United States of entering the conflict to prevent the collapse of Israel. “The US government got directly involved in the war because they understood that if they did not intervene, the Zionists would fall. But their aggression achieved nothing. Iran won here, and we dealt the final blow to the US. I congratulate everyone on the victory against the US,” he added.

The Supreme Leader praised the unity of the Iranian people, stating: “Iran, a country of 90 million people, stood shoulder to shoulder with our armed forces. The Iranians have shown their unique character and proven that when necessary, they will all be united.”

Khamenei also warned that any future act of aggression against Iran would be met with severe consequences. “The price of aggression against Iran will be high. The Zionists never thought they would receive such a blow from Iran. Our armed forces bypassed the various defense systems of the enemies and hit their hearths,” he said.

His address comes amid regional uncertainty, with both Israel and the US yet to formally respond to Khamenei’s declaration of victory.
