Nairobi, Oct 28 (V7N)- Eleven people have been killed in a small plane crash in Kenya, according to a report by Al Jazeera on Tuesday (October 28).

The country’s Civil Aviation Authority said the aircraft, carrying tourists, was en route from the coastal town of Diani to the Masai Mara wildlife sanctuary when it crashed in the Kewale area of southeastern Kenya.

All on board, including the pilot, were killed in the crash. Among the victims were eight Hungarian and two German nationals, officials confirmed.

Emergency services rushed to the scene and recovered the bodies from the forested crash site. The Kenyan government has launched an investigation to determine the cause of the accident.
