Bangladesh's growing influence as a spokesperson for the Global South and its increasing integration with global dynamics have garnered attention from major world powers including India, China, the USA, and European countries. This diplomatic success is attributed to Bangladesh's consistent economic growth and proactive foreign policy under the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.

Although Prime Minister Hasina's scheduled visits to Saudi Arabia and Gambia were canceled due to tensions in the Middle East, her upcoming visit to Thailand on April 24 underscores Bangladesh's importance on the international stage. Despite the cancellations, countries remain eager for Bangladesh's diplomatic engagement.

With India, China, Japan, and Korea on the horizon, Bangladesh is sought after by both superpowers and emerging economies. This heightened interest is fueled by Bangladesh's remarkable economic progress, achieving consistent growth over the decades and its full integration into globalization.

According to former diplomats, Bangladesh's policy of fostering friendships with all nations has further enhanced its global appeal. This inclusive foreign policy approach has positioned Bangladesh as a reliable partner in international affairs.

Former diplomat Shamser Mobin Chowdhury highlighted the unique position Bangladesh holds, with countries actively seeking to engage with it. Unlike other nations that seek assistance from major powers like China or India, Bangladesh finds itself in the enviable position of being courted by multiple nations.

Former diplomat Humayun Kabir emphasized the significance of Bangladesh's partnerships with ASEAN countries in Southeast Asia, as well as its growing ties with traditional economic powerhouses like the European Union and the United States. These partnerships are poised to bolster Bangladesh's economic growth and global influence in the coming years.

Furthermore, Bangladesh's success in areas such as Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), climate change mitigation, and women's empowerment has garnered international recognition and contributed to its rising prominence on the global stage.
