In a recent report by Gulf News on Sunday, May 5th, the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah Affairs of Saudi Arabia announced strict travel restrictions for pilgrims holding Hajj visas in 2024.

According to the report, individuals with Hajj visas will only be permitted to travel to the cities of Jeddah, Madinah, and Makkah. Any deviation from these designated cities is strictly prohibited, and violators risk being barred from future Hajj pilgrimages and even face expulsion from the country.

Furthermore, the new regulations stipulate that Hajj visa holders are prohibited from engaging in any form of work, paid or unpaid, as well as performing Umrah during their stay. The Hajj visa is valid exclusively for the duration of the Hajj season, and any violation of these rules will result in severe consequences.

These stringent measures underscore Saudi Arabia's commitment to ensuring the safety and integrity of the Hajj pilgrimage and maintaining order during this sacred time. Pilgrims are urged to adhere to these regulations to avoid any disruptions to their pilgrimage experience.
