Tehran, August 29 — Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi has reaffirmed Iran's unwavering support for Palestine, commending the Palestinian people for their resilience against what he termed as Israel's "barbaric aggression and genocide." Araqchi expressed confidence that the "final victory will be the Palestinian people's," and emphasized that Iran will always side with Palestine in its struggle.

Araqchi made these remarks during a phone conversation with Khalil al-Hayya, the deputy head of Hamas's political bureau, on Wednesday, according to Perstood news.

Highlighting Iran's consistent stance, Araqchi assured that the current Iranian administration will steadfastly continue the supportive policies of its predecessors towards the "oppressed Palestinian nation." He reiterated Iran's commitment to stand by Palestine and support its efforts against Israel.

Additionally, Araqchi stated that Iran would back any potential ceasefire agreement in the region that is endorsed by the Palestinian people and resistance fighters. This statement underscores Iran's ongoing political and moral support for Palestinian resistance groups amidst escalating tensions in the region.

The phone call between Araqchi and al-Hayya comes amid heightened conflict and international concerns over the humanitarian situation in the Palestinian territories. As hostilities continue, Iran's reaffirmation of support signals its strategic alignment and continued involvement in the region's geopolitical dynamics.
