Anti-government protests in the African country of Senegal. Hundreds of people gathered in the country's capital on Friday (February 9) to protest. In a report, the French news media France 24 reported the information.

According to the report, the election program has been fixed on 25th February. Just 3 weeks before the election, the country's justice minister decided to delay it by 10 months. Basically people are angry with this decision. They claim that this decision has been taken in an attempt to seize power.

These crafts are being done to expand the power of the current government and burden the party. Hundreds of people took to the streets to demand fair elections at the right time.

At one stage of the protest program, riots broke out between the police and the protesters. When the situation worsened, the police fired tear gas and the protesters retaliated with bricks and stones.
