Rajbari, Mar 05 (V7N) – A trainee lawyer lost his life in a road accident after a motorcycle collided with a bus in the Sonapur More area of Kalukhali Upazila, Rajbari, on Tuesday afternoon.

The deceased, Jewel Mondal, was the son of Nazimuddin Mondal from Kurapara, Pangsha Upazila. His friend, Rezaul Mondal, who was also riding the motorcycle, sustained serious injuries and is currently receiving treatment at Kalukhali Upazila Health Complex.

According to locals, the two were traveling from Rajbari to Pangsha when their motorcycle collided with a speeding bus coming from the opposite direction. Both suffered critical injuries, and Jewel Mondal was declared dead after being taken to the hospital.

Confirming the incident, Pangsha Highway Police Station OC Harun Or Rashid said that legal action is being taken regarding the accident.
