Bandarban, Apr 03 (V7N) – A minibus carrying tourists overturned in Bandarban’s Lama upazila, leaving at least 25 people injured, including women and children. Among them, three individuals, including a child, are in critical condition and have been transferred to Chittagong Medical College (CMC) Hospital for advanced treatment.
The accident took place around 10 AM on Thursday in the Madaninagar area of Mirinja Pahar.

All of the injured are residents of Adhunagar and Kalaujan in Lohagara upazila, Chittagong.
Sub-Inspector Riyad Hossain of Lama Police Station stated that the bus has been taken into custody by Lama Traffic Police. Most of the injured received initial treatment at Lama Hospital before returning to their hometown in Lohagara.
Meanwhile, Amjad Hossain, the bus assistant, sustained severe injuries, with both legs broken. He has also been referred to Chittagong Medical College for further treatment. His family members are on their way to assist him.
Authorities are currently investigating the cause of the accident.
