An unfortunate event occurred outside Chandanaish College Gate in Gachbaria, Chattogram, where the cylinder of an autorickshaw exploded, engulfing the vehicle in flames and taking the driver's life. Luckily, nobody was on board when the tragedy happened.

The event happened on Monday, March 25, at around 3 p.m. in the Gachbaria area next to the Chandanaish College Gate. Abdul Sobur, a resident of Ichhamati Alinagar in Satkania Upazila and the son of Mafizur Rahman, was confirmed as the deceased driver.

Motorcycle rider Shaukat Ali Parvez, who was behind the autorickshaw when the terrifying incident occurred, described how the vehicle's cylinder exploded, engulfing the vehicle in flames and forcing the driver to jump out and perish in the fire.

Local sources claim the fire started after the autorickshaw maneuvered to avoid traffic police signals and collided with another vehicle.
Eyewitnesses reported that the auto-rickshaw's cylinder exploded, resulting in a fierce blaze that caused the driver to fall out, engulfed in flames.

After being called fire service, the fire brigade effectively extinguished the flames as soon as they arrived.

The driver of the autorickshaw died in the explosion of the cylinder at the site, according to Officer-in-Charge (OC) Obaidul Islam of the Chandanaish Police Station, who verified the integrity of the occurrence.
