On the Sonahat Land Port Road in Bhurungamari Upazila in Kurigram on Sunday morning, a motorbike and a three-wheeler, (nasiman) collided, killing a man and his son.

Raised in Sarkartari village within the upazila, the murdered individuals were Shahidul Islam, 48, and his son Biplob Hasan, 25.

The victims, according to the locals, were traveling from Bhurungamari Upazila Sadar to their village home in the morning on the bicycle.

According to them, the two people were seriously hurt when the three-wheeler in the Patershawari region collided with the motorcycle traveling in the opposite direction.

They were taken to Bhurungamari Upazila Health Complex, where doctors pronounced them dead.

According to Officer-in-Charge Ruhul Amin of the Bhurungamari police station, the accident may have occurred due to poor visibility brought on by severe fog.
