Dhaka, Oct 08 (V7N): Chairman of the Bangladesh Public Service Commission (PSC), Md Sohorab Hossain, has stepped down from his role.
On Tuesday, Sohorab submitted his resignation to the PSC secretary. Additionally, most of the PSC members have resigned as well, although two members are yet to be reached since their phones remain switched off.
The Anti-Discrimination Student Movement coordinator, Sarjis Alam, emphasized the importance of reforming the PSC and urged that recruitment exams for job seekers must commence immediately, following these necessary reforms. He added that the concerns of the youth leading this movement should not be ignored.
