The Bangladesh Meteorological Department has forecasted mainly dry weather across the country for the next 24 hours, starting from this morning, with some light rain expected in certain regions. Specifically, light rain may occur in one or two locations within Rangpur, Dhaka, Barishal, and Chattogram divisions. The weather will generally remain dry with a partly cloudy sky in other areas.

Daytime temperatures are expected to stay nearly the same, while nighttime temperatures may decrease slightly. The maximum temperature recorded on Thursday was 34.5 degrees Celsius in Sitakunda, and the minimum temperature today was 23.0 degrees Celsius in Badalgachhi, Tetulia, and Srimangal.

In the last 24 hours leading up to 6 a.m. today, the highest rainfall was 17 millimeters at Srimangal. For today, sunset is expected at 5:19 p.m., and sunrise will be at 6:05 a.m. tomorrow in the capital.
