Dhaka, Dec 30 (V7N) — The Meteorological Department has forecasted mainly dry weather with temporarily partly cloudy skies across Bangladesh on Monday, as the subcontinental high-pressure area extends over West Bengal and adjoining regions. Meanwhile, a seasonal low-pressure area persists over the southern Bay of Bengal, extending into the northeastern Bay.

In Dhaka, winds are expected to blow from the north and northwest at speeds of 6 to 12 km/h.

Moderate to dense fog is likely in northern regions from midnight to morning, while light to moderate fog may occur in other parts of the country.

Night and day temperatures are predicted to drop by 1 to 2 degrees Celsius, making the weather cooler in most areas.

Dry weather with partly cloudy skies is expected to continue on Tuesday. Foggy conditions will persist, particularly in northern regions, with moderate to dense fog likely from midnight to morning. Other parts of the country may experience light to moderate fog during this period.
