Mohammed Shahabuddin, the president of Bangladesh, urged businesspeople, manufacturers, and entrepreneurs on Tuesday to build safe and environmentally friendly enterprises in addition to exploring additional export markets worldwide.

"Make every effort to boost output. Broaden the export market to every corner of the globe," he said at a Bangabandhu International Conference Center (BICC) event held in conjunction with "National Textile Day-2024."

Along with boosting investment and employment in the textile industry, the head of state also urged all parties involved to manufacture a variety of export goods rather than depending solely on a small number of goods.

He emphasized the importance of economic diplomacy and stated that diplomatic missions may be utilized for this.

The environment of production-oriented factories can never be destroyed by a self-serving clique or vicious loop, which is why Shahabuddin called on everyone involved, especially business leaders, to exercise caution.

The production-oriented mill factories require a favorable environment, thus we need to be on guard... You always have the support of the government," he declared."

The president called on entrepreneurs, industrialists, and financiers to step up and discover new global markets for their innovative products that combine cutting-edge technology and technical education.

Additionally, he emphasized the need for the textile industry to produce competent workers.
