Dhaka, Jan 27 (V7N) — Professor Asif Nazrul, the legal advisor to the interim government, has described the ongoing clashes between students of Dhaka University (DU) and the seven affiliated colleges as "undesirable."

Speaking to reporters after a meeting at the Ministry of Home Affairs on Monday, he emphasised the need for initiatives to prevent such incidents in the future.

“These are undesirable,” Professor Nazrul said. “We need to try to take more initiatives to avoid them.”

When asked about potential solutions, he assured reporters of his commitment to resolving the situation. “I will try to do whatever it takes to resolve this,” he added.

The recent clashes have raised concerns among students, teachers, and administrators, prompting calls for immediate action to ensure harmony and academic focus. The interim government has pledged to address the situation swiftly.
