DHAKA, May 09 (V7N) - Pilgrims who have obtained visas to perform the holy Hajj this year now have the option to cancel their visas, as the Saudi Arabian government has implemented a visa cancellation system.

The Ministry of Religious Affairs issued a notification yesterday to inform all relevant parties, including pilgrims and Hajj agencies, about this new development.

The notice specified that the facility to cancel Hajj visas has been integrated into the Saudi e-Hajj system. Pilgrims can utilize this option should they find it necessary to cancel their visa.

However, the notification also stated that a visa fee, equivalent to 360 Saudi Riyals, will be deducted in the event of a cancellation.
