Dhaka, Oct 27 (V7N)- The price of gold in Bangladesh’s market has dropped once again. The Bangladesh Jewelers Association (BAJUS) announced that the price of the best quality, or 22-carat gold, has been reduced by Tk 1,039 per bhori (11.664 grams).
With the latest adjustment, the price of one bhori of 22-carat gold now stands at Tk 2,07,957, effective from Monday (October 27). The new prices were disclosed in a BAJUS notification issued on Sunday night (October 26).
According to the updated rates:

21-carat gold will be sold at Tk 1,98,498 per bhori,
-
18-carat gold at Tk 1,70,143 per bhori, and
-
Traditional gold at Tk 1,41,496 per bhori.
Silver Prices Also Reduced
BAJUS also announced a decrease in silver prices. The price of 22-carat silver has been reduced by Tk 735 to Tk 5,470 per bhori. Similarly:

21-carat silver dropped by Tk 700 to Tk 5,214 per bhori,

18-carat silver fell by Tk 607 to Tk 4,467 per bhori, and
-
Traditional silver declined by Tk 443 to Tk 3,359 per bhori.
The latest price adjustment reflects ongoing fluctuations in the global precious metals market, which continue to influence local rates.
