Biman Bangladesh Airlines has launched its "Smart Call Center" at the Biman head office, Balaka, aiming to provide modern and efficient service to air travelers in the country. The Managing Director and CEO of Biman, Shafiul Azim, officially inaugurated the smart call center by dialing its short code number ‘13636’. Mohammad Salahuddin, Director of Marketing and Sales at Biman, along with other officials and journalists from various media outlets, attended the event.
The CEO stated that Biman has established the call center with its own management system, marking the first phase of its implementation. Additionally, the airline plans to recruit university students as part-time workers to ensure swift operations. Moreover, there are plans to relocate the call center to a separate building and incorporate state-of-the-art features to further enhance the services provided.
