Dhaka, Nov 23 (V7N)- Bhutanese Prime Minister Tshering Tobgay, on a state visit to Dhaka, paid a courtesy call on President Md. Shahabuddin at Bangabhaban on Sunday afternoon.
The meeting focused on strengthening bilateral relations and discussed various issues of mutual interest. Both leaders expressed satisfaction with the existing excellent ties and emphasized making the relationship deeper and more multifaceted.
Discussions included enhancing cooperation in trade, investment, energy, tourism, education, health, and climate change mitigation.
Also present were Trade Advisor Sheikh Basiruddin, Bhutanese Ambassador to Dhaka Karma Hamu Dorji, and members of the Bhutanese delegation.
