State Minister for Information and Broadcasting Mohammad Ali Arafat, currently visiting Bhutan at the invitation of Bhutanese King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck, reached Thimphu alongside the King from Gelephu. They were greeted by Bhutanese Prime Minister Tshering Tobgay and Bangladesh Ambassador to Bhutan Shib Nath Roy upon their arrival at Paro International Airport. Arafat and the King departed from Kurigram's Sonahat land port for India before heading to Bhutan. During their stay in Gelephu, the King shared plans for developing a peaceful and environmentally friendly city. Arafat is scheduled to return home on Sunday.
