Dhaka, Jan 22 (V7N) — A total of 3,263 candidates have been appointed to various cadre posts of the Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) through the 48th Special BCS Examination–2025.

The Ministry of Public Administration issued a notification in this regard on Thursday (January 22) through its New Recruitment Branch.

The notification, signed by Senior Secretary Md. Ehsanul Haque on behalf of the President, states that the appointments have been made in accordance with the recommendation letters of the Bangladesh Public Service Commission (BPSC) dated September 29, October 27, and November 17.

According to the notification, the newly appointed officers will join various entry-level cadre posts under the National Pay Scale 2015, with a salary range of Tk 22,000 to Tk 53,060, subject to the conditions mentioned in the appointment letters.

It further states that if any appointee is found unsuitable during the apprenticeship or probation period, they may be removed from service without assigning any reason and without consultation with the Public Service Commission, as per the conditions of appointment.

The order, issued in the public interest, has come into effect immediately, the notification added.
