Dhaka, Feb 20 (V7N)- Joint Secretary General of the Doctors Association of Bangladesh (DAB), Dr. Monowarul Quadir Bitu, has been appointed as the Personal Assistant Physician to Prime Minister Tarique Rahman.

The Ministry of Public Administration issued a notification in this regard on Thursday (February 19).

According to the notification, Dr. Monowarul Quadir Bitu, who is currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Cardiology at Bangladesh Medical University, will be deputed to the Prime Minister’s Office in his new role.

The notification further stated that he will formally assume the position after taking charge of his new responsibilities.
