Dhaka, Mar 11 (V7N) – Long queues for fuel persisted across the capital on Wednesday morning as many petrol pumps have yet to resume normal operations due to ongoing supply shortages.

Motorcyclists and car drivers were seen waiting for hours to get fuel. Some arrived early after Fajr prayers, others after Sahri, while some queued late at night in hopes of filling up.

Pump workers reported that fuel stocks are gradually returning to normal, but supply is still being distributed according to government-imposed limits.

Drivers expressed frustration, urging the government to take effective measures to ease the crisis. Some also accused certain individuals of illegally hoarding fuel, exacerbating the situation.

The situation highlights the ongoing challenges in maintaining steady fuel distribution in the city despite efforts to manage the shortage.
