The moon in the Shawwal month of 1445 Hijri was not visible in the nation's sky today. Thus, Thursday will be the holy day of Eid-ul-Fitr, according to a press statement issued by the Islamic Foundation (IF) this evening.
Presided over by Religious Affairs Minister Md. Faridul Haque Khan, MP, the decision was made during a meeting of the National Moon Sighting Committee held at the IF office in
Baitul Mokarram National Mosque.
