To ensure smooth travel for holidaymakers, the movement of heavy vehicles such as trucks, covered vans, and lorries, except those carrying sacrificial animals, will be suspended on highways for seven days starting three days before Eid-ul-Azha.

Additionally, all CNG refueling stations will remain open round the clock for 12 days starting from seven days before Eid-ul-Azha.

Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader announced the decision at a meeting at BRTA Bhaban, emphasizing the need to prevent overcharging of homebound passengers during Eid.
