Ukhiya, 29th June (V7N)- This afternoon around five o'clock, RAB's DG Barrister Harun and Rashid visited Rohingya Camp No. 5 in Ukhiya. During the inspection, RAB provided guard of honor from the camp police. Following this, a dialogue session was held with the camp leaders and sub-leaders.
 
In the dialogue, most Rohingya expressed their desire to return to Myanmar soon. On the other hand, uncertainty persists among those residing here. Incidents of violence occur daily in the Rohingya camp, instilling fear among them. However, the camp police maintain round-the-clock vigilance. Rohingya leaders expressed gratitude to the current Prime Minister for assisting in maintaining normalcy in the camp's legal situation.
 
DG Barrister Harun and Rashid mentioned that the people in the Rohingya camp are familiar with each other, fostering a sense of community. Additionally, APBN, district police, BGB, and RAB are actively working, and several individuals were present at the dialogue session, including Anayet Ullah, Head Majhi of Balukhali Rohingya Camp in Ukhiya, Hossein Juhur, Head Majhi of Camp No. 5 in Ukhiya, Dulu Hossein, Head Majhi of Balukhali Rohingya Camp in Ukhiya, Hafez Anwar, and Mohammad Elias, Head Majhi of Camp No. 17 in Ukhiya.
 
Furthermore, among the cooperating members are DG Amir Jafar and Legal and Media Wing Director of RAB, Arafat Islam, as well as Police Super Ikbal of the 14th Armed Police Battalion. Previously, a dialogue session was conducted at the 8th Armed Police Battalion headquarters.
