Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is set to discuss her recent visit to China at a press conference on Sunday. The event, scheduled for 4 PM, will be held at her official residence, Ganabhaban, as per a release from her press wing.

Sheikh Hasina traveled to Beijing on Monday, at the invitation of Chinese Premier Li Qiang, and returned on Thursday. During her visit from July 8 to 10, she met with Chinese President Xi Jinping and held bilateral talks with Premier Li Qiang. These discussions culminated in the signing and renewal of 21 cooperation agreements, primarily MoUs, aiming to bolster economic and developmental ties between Bangladesh and China. Among the key outcomes was the completion of a joint feasibility study for a Bangladesh-China Free Trade Agreement (FTA).
