The US Embassy in Dhaka will be closed to the public on Thursday due to the ongoing quota movement.

On Wednesday night, the US Embassy announced on its Facebook page that the student movement regarding the quota system is spreading across Dhaka city. As a result, the embassy will be closed to the public.

 

Additionally, US citizens, especially in university areas, have been advised to exercise caution.

On Thursday, the quota protesters announced to enforce a complete shutdown across Bangladesh.
