The interim government has decided to prosecute the killings that occurred during the student protests in the International Crimes Tribunal.
Efforts have been made to conduct investigations into these incidents under the supervision of the United Nations.

Professor Asif Nazrul, the interim government's advisor on law, justice, and parliamentary affairs, revealed the information at a press conference held at the Secretariat on Wednesday.

Asif Nazrul said that the killings that took place during the student-general people protests from July 1 to August 5 will be tried in the International Crimes Tribunal.

He also said that all cases of harassment filed over the student movement across the country will be withdrawn within August 31.

The law adviser said the cases filed in Dhaka during the student-led movement will also be withdrawn by Thursday.

Asif Nazrul informed that cases filed against journalist Rozina Islam and Nagorik Oikya President Mahmudur Rahman Manna will also be withdrawn.

Moreover, the passport of Rozina has been returned to her, he added.
