The 14 Armed Police Battalion (APBN) arrested three Rohingya terrorists during a raid at the Ukhia Rohingya camp in Cox's Bazar, recovering a significant cache of weapons. The operation, which took place in the Balurmath Police Camp area of Ukhia on Thursday, August 15, at 11:30 pm, led to the seizure of 2 one-shooter guns, 1 homemade revolver, 3 rifle bullets, 4 rounds of pistol ammunition, and 3 shotgun cartridges.

The arrested individuals have been identified as Md. Rahim (24), son of Md. Siddique from Block G-7 of Rohingya Camp No. 7, Mohammad Noor (27), son of Saber Ahmed from Block M-10 of Rohingya Camp No. 18, and Mohammad Faiz (32), son of Mohammad Zafar from Block C-6 of Rohingya Camp No. 6 in Ukhia. Notably, Mohammad Faiz has four previous cases against him, including a murder case, according to Ukhia Police Station Officer-in-Charge Shamim Hossain.

Deputy Captain of the 14 APBN, Superintendent of Police Md. Arefin Jewel, confirmed the details of the operation, stating that it was conducted based on secret information. The arrested individuals have been handed over to Ukhia Police Station, and the process of filing a case against them is currently underway.
