The 4 Armed Police Battalion (APBN) conducted a successful raid at the Rohingya camp in Ukhia, Cox's Bazar, resulting in the arrest of a Rohingya terrorist, Chadeek Hossain, also known as Kala Puto. During the operation, which took place at around 5:30 am on Saturday (August 17) in the playground area behind Hope Hospital at Rohingya Camp No. 4 in Kutupalong, authorities recovered a G-3 rifle and 10 rounds of ammunition from the suspect.

Chadeek Hossain, a resident of Block A-2 in Rohingya Camp No. 4, is also wanted in connection with a murder case at the Ukhia police station. Following the arrest, he was handed over to Ukhia police for further legal action, and the process of filing a new case against him is currently underway.

The operation was based on secret intelligence and was confirmed by 14 APBN Assistant Captain (Superintendent of Police) Md. Arefin Jewel through a press release. The arrest and recovery of the weapons highlight the ongoing efforts to maintain security and address criminal activities within the Rohingya camps.
