Dhaka, Sept 03 (V7N): The deadline set by the Police Headquarters for the surrender of looted firearms and ammunition will expire on Tuesday.

This directive, issued on Sunday, follows recent unrest during which a total of 3,880 firearms were stolen from police stations, police lines, and outposts. As of September 1, these stolen weapons have been recovered from various locations.
