Dhaka, July 10 (V7N) — The results of the 2025 Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent examinations have been published today across all 11 education boards of Bangladesh. The average pass rate has dropped significantly to 68.45 percent, compared to last year’s 83.04 percent.
The results were simultaneously released by the education boards of Dhaka, Rajshahi, Comilla, Jessore, Chittagong, Barisal, Sylhet, Dinajpur, Mymensingh, Bangladesh Madrasa Education Board, and Bangladesh Technical Education Board.
This year’s SSC exams started on April 10 and concluded on May 13. A total of 19,28,970 candidates registered to participate, including 9,67,739 female and 9,61,231 male students.
On the first day, 26,928 candidates were absent from 3,715 examination centers nationwide, and the absentee count increased as the exam progressed. Ultimately, about 1.9 million students appeared for the exams.
According to official statistics, 13,03,426 students passed, with 1,39,032 students securing the highest GPA-5.
The results can be checked online via the respective education boards’ websites or through SMS services.
