Dhaka, Sep 14 (V7N) – The Trading Corporation of Bangladesh (TCB) is set to launch a nationwide sale of essential products at subsidized prices starting this Sunday. This initiative, ordered by the Ministry of Commerce, aims to provide relief to one crore families across the country.

According to a TCB announcement made on Saturday, families holding TCB cards will be eligible to purchase essential goods, including rice, oil, and lentils, at reduced prices. Each family will be able to buy five kilograms of rice at Tk 30 per kg, two litres of edible oil at Tk 100 per litre, and two kilograms of lentils at Tk 60 per kg.

The products will be available at TCB’s designated dealer shops in city corporations, districts, and upazilas across the country. This initiative is part of the government's ongoing effort to support low-income families by making basic necessities more affordable.
