Former US President Donald Trump has started a shoe business. 

He unveiled the 'Trump Sneakers' brand at Sneaker Con in Philadelphia on Saturday. News from CNN.

Trump posted a photo of a pair of gold-colored sneakers on display on his website. Its tagline is "The Never Surrender High-Top Sneaker". At least 10 pairs of shoes will be autographed by Trump, the website said in the shoe ads. 

On Saturday night, the first lot of 1,000 pairs of shoes were listed for sale on the website. In no time, all the shoes were 'sold out'. The price of each pair of shoes is 399 US dollars or about 45 thousand taka.

Trump said that this business plan was in his head for the last 12-13 years. He also said that he is very optimistic about the massive success in this business.

Trump also listed two other pairs of shoes on the website. Named them 'T' and '45'. The price of these is 199 USD per pair or about 22 thousand taka.

According to the website, neither Trump nor any of his organizations are directly involved in the production, design or marketing of these shoes. They are using Trump's name and image under a contract.
