By the end of January, 3,617 manufacturing businesses were listed on the Chinese stock exchange, as reported by the China Association for Public Businesses.

67.5 percent of the 5,358 businesses registered on the domestic stock market were manufacturing enterprises, according to the organization.
Manufacturing, software development, information transmission, wholesale and retail sales, and information technology services constituted the primary business activities of the great majority of Chinese enterprises.

According to data from the organization, there were 2,268, 2,847, and 243 businesses listed on the Shanghai, Shenzhen, and Beijing stock markets in the nation, respectively.
