Dhaka, Feb 26, (V7N) — A fire broke out at the Jamal Tower in Nayapaltan, Dhaka, early this morning. Thirteen fire service units are currently working to control the blaze.
The fire service received the first report of the fire at 5:35 AM, with the first unit arriving at the scene at 5:40 AM. According to Rakibul Islam, a duty officer from the control room, the fire started on the fourth floor and has spread to the fifth floor.
The cause of the fire is still unknown, and there has been no immediate information on casualties or damage. Firefighters are working to bring the situation under control.
