Dhaka, Sep 06 (V7N) – The World Sunni Movement organized a rally and colorful procession in the capital on the occasion of the holy Eid-e-Miladunnabi (PBUH).

The rally, held at the National Press Club on Saturday, was addressed by Allama Imam Hayat, founder of the World Sunni Movement.

“All human life is false without the bond and path of the beloved Prophet (PBUH),” Imam Hayat said, warning that real Islam is endangered and “immersed in darkness” in the present world.

He emphasized that Islam is not a religion of imposition, saying, “Power and coercion are prohibited in Islam.” At this time, he prayed for peace across the Muslim Ummah.

Criticizing the traditional style of observing Eid-e-Miladunnabi, he said: “Such formal celebrations do not bring liberation; rather, they bring destruction.”

After the rally, a colorful procession marched from the Press Club to the High Court Mazar Sharif.
