Dhaka, Oct 29 (V7N)- At least 15 people were injured as police clashed with teachers of Ebtedayi Madrasas protesting in front of the Press Club for nationalization on Wednesday (October 29) afternoon.

The incident occurred when the teachers, marching towards the Secretariat in a procession, were blocked by police in front of the Press Club. To disperse the protesters, police fired sound grenades, tear shells, and charged with batons, resulting in injuries and scattering the teachers.

Authorities have yet to comment on the incident, and the injured were reportedly taken for treatment immediately after the clash.
