Dhaka, Nov 23 (V7N) — A seasonal normal low pressure area is currently located over the South Bay of Bengal, with its extension reaching the North Bay of Bengal. The Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) has forecast the potential development of a low-pressure system over the Southeast Bay of Bengal and adjoining areas within the next 24 hours.

The 72-hour forecast, issued at 9 am on Saturday, indicates that the weather across the country is expected to remain predominantly dry with partly cloudy skies. Moderate to heavy fog is likely to occur in parts of northern Bangladesh during late night and early morning hours, while light to moderate fog may affect other regions.

Temperatures are predicted to drop slightly during the night and daytime today, with similar conditions anticipated for Sunday.

By Monday, night and day temperatures are expected to remain nearly unchanged across the country, as per the forecast.

The extended five-day outlook from the BMD suggests no significant changes in weather patterns during this period.

Residents, especially in fog-prone areas, are advised to remain cautious during early morning hours due to reduced visibility. Further updates will be issued as conditions evolve.
