"The severe winter weather has affected people's daily lives, causing transport to slow down and making it more difficult for low-income people to get heat"

Kishoreganj and Chuadanga both recorded 9.6 degrees Celsius on Friday at 9 a.m., suggesting that the two towns had exceptionally low temperatures. At that time, this is the lowest recorded temperature in the nation. This information was supplied by Jahidul Islam, the first-class officer in charge of the Nikli Meteorological Centre, who said that Chuadanga and Nikli in Kishoreganj both reported the same low temperature.

The Meteorological Department's website reported this information around 11:30 am on Friday. Nikli also recorded the lowest temperature in the country the day before, with a temperature of 10.03 degrees Celsius.

The Meteorological Department predicts that Saturday is likely to be slightly colder than Friday. A cold front is affecting Kishoreganj, Chuadanga, Pabna, and Dinajpur on Friday. The department also suggests that winter conditions will persist throughout the month.

Also, Chuadanga experienced a 3.4 degree Celsius temperature drop in a single day, from 13 degrees Celsius on the previous day to 9.6 degrees on Friday at 9 am. Dense fog engulfed Chuadanga the whole day, interfering with daily activities. The fog caused traffic to slow down, making it harder for individuals to leave their homes for non-essential purposes.

The Chuadanga First Class Meteorological Observatory reported the beginning of a mild cold front in the district. The severe winter conditions have affected the daily lives of the people, with traffic slowing down and low-income individuals struggling to find warmth. Despite the challenges, some people were observed warming themselves by lighting fires at various intersections and tea shops in the area.
