Barguna, Sep 12 (V7N) - In Betagi, Barguna, the As-Sunnah Foundation distributed 3,750 fruit tree saplings, including mango, guava, and lemon, to teachers, students of Betagi Government Pilot High School, and individuals from various professions. This distribution event took place today at noon.
 
Advocate Arifur Rahman Arif, representing the As-Sunnah Foundation, attended the event, with Mr. Mohammad Faruk Ahmed, the Upazila Executive Officer (UNO) of Betagi, serving as the chief guest. Special guests included Bipul Sikdar, the Assistant Commissioner (Land) of Betagi, Mohammad Mahbubur Rahman, the Officer-in-Charge of Betagi Police Station, and veteran politician Mr. Jalilur Rahman Khan Nanna. The event was chaired by Maulana Mohammad Shahjahan Gazi, a senior teacher at the school, and managed by lecturers Mamun Parvez Asad and Shahadat Hossain Munna.
 
The sapling distribution was facilitated by volunteers from the Betagi Problem Solution Group, the Red Crescent Society’s Betagi branch, and members of the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement, as well as leaders from various political and social organizations.
