One individual and one lakh Yabas were taken into custody by Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) Teknaf Battalion (2nd BGB) in Cox's Bazar.

The BGB was able to apprehend Yaba smuggler Md. Osman on Friday, March 1 at 7:50, thanks to confidential intelligence that suggested a drug shipment from Myanmar may reach Bangladesh by sea via the Katabuniya region, which is about 02 km south of the Khurermukh temporary check post.

apprehended Md. Osman (age 38), son of Abdul Mabud of Katabuniya of Sabrang Union under Teknaf in Cox's Bazar. The confiscated Yaba pills and the apprehended culprit are being sent over to the Teknaf Model Police Station.
The information was verified by Lt. Col. Md. Mohiuddin Ahmed, the commander of Teknaf 2 BGB.
