Pabna, Feb 15 (V7N) – A daring robbery took place in the early hours of February 13 at the house of businessman Zakir Hossain in Dilalpur Pathratla area of Pabna city. The robbers, posing as Detective Branch (DB) police officers and armed with weapons, forcibly entered the house after cutting the main gate's lock.
 
The gang stole valuable items including cash and gold jewelry worth over a hundred thousand Taka. Zakir Hossain, an electronics businessman, reported that the robbers locked him up with handcuffs, demanding money and jewelry. They ransacked the house and took valuables from multiple rooms, including breaking open cupboards.
 
The incident was witnessed by a tenant in the building, who confirmed the robbers introduced themselves as DB police officers and took mobile phones first before carrying out the robbery. The police are investigating the matter, collecting CCTV footage, and are hopeful of arresting the culprits soon.
