As he attempted to save his son in the Ferozshah area of Chattogram City in Bangladesh, Doctor Korban Ali was assaulted by a group of youngsters and ultimately perished. 

During his treatment at a private hospital in the city on Wednesday, April 10, at around 5:30 am, he passed away.According to Ali Reza, Korban Ali's son, his father passed away in the intensive care unit at approximately 5:30 in the morning.

It is known that two months earlier, after witnessing several schoolchildren being assaulted, some local youth got into an argument with Ali Reza, Korban Ali's son, and called the police. 

Due to the disagreement, on April 5, a group of adolescents attacked Ali Reza, the son of dentist Korban Ali, on J Line close to Eidgaon site of the Akbar Shah Police Station in the city's Ferozshah Colony. Once he witnessed his kid being beaten, Korban Ali was attacked as well. 

According to Ali Reza, a brick was used to strike his father in the head.Then he was rushed to the Chattogram Medical College Hospital immediately and had primary medication. But  Korban Ali's health deterioration led to the unconsciousness  and he was admitted to the intensive care unit (ICU)  of a private hospital.

A report was filed in the Akbar Shah police station on Sunday, two days after the event, naming twelve persons and leaving some others' identities unclear. In that case, three persons were taken into custody last Tuesday, April 9.

Golam Rabbani, the Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Akbar Shah Police Station, stated, "We have arrested three people in relation to the attack on the dentist so far." We're still working to apprehend the other defendants.
