In the course of raiding ARSA's stronghold in the hills next to the Rohingya camp in Ukhiya, Cox's Bazar, Rapid Action Battalion RAB-15 seized a variety of weapons and ammunition. Three members of the armed group from Myanmar were being held at this point.

RAB-15 Cox's Bazar Battalion Commander Lt. Col. HM Sajjad Hossain said that the operation was conducted on Lal Pahar behind the extended part of Rohingya Camp No. 20 of the upazila on Thursday morning.

Sajjad Hossain said, a team of RAB conducted a raid on Wednesday night on the news that a group of miscreants had built a hideout in the hills adjacent to Rohingya camp number 20 and had been committing various crimes for a long time.

RAB members surrounded the suspected hideout, at one stage, they ambush began which lasted for several hours.

Sensing the presence, some terrorists fled away but managed to arrest three.
The hideout was later searched and country-made 22 guns and various equipments including a hundred rounds of ammunition and 4 mines were recovered.The RAB official said, "Arkan Rohingya Salvation Army (ARSA) members built the hideout on the hill. Using this hideout, they were committing various crimes including dominating the Rohingya camp.
