Rangamati, Aug 12 (V7N) – A total of 132 high-achieving students from Rangamati Sadar Upazila were awarded DO letters on Monday in recognition of their outstanding performance in the 2025 Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and vocational examinations. The ceremony was organized by the Rangamati District Administration and held at the district conference room.
Rangamati Deputy Commissioner and District Magistrate Mohammad Habib Ullah Maruf personally presented the awards. In his remarks, he praised the students for their dedication and encouraged them to continue striving for excellence in their academic and future professional lives.
Also present at the event were Additional Deputy Commissioner (Education and ICT) Jobaida Akhter, District Education Officer Sarit Kumar Chakma, and Sadar Upazila Executive Officer Rifat Asma. Head teachers and students from various secondary schools and technical institutions across Rangamati city attended the event.
The ceremony was moderated by Rani Dayamoyi High School Principal Rantosh Mallick. Students from general secondary schools, madrasas, and technical education institutions were all included in the list of awardees.
The DO letter is a form of formal recognition issued by the Deputy Commissioner, aimed at motivating students and encouraging continued academic excellence. This initiative has been appreciated by both educators and parents as a way to boost morale and acknowledge the hard work of top-performing students.
Officials emphasized that the recognition not only celebrates individual success but also serves as an example for other students in the region to aim higher and remain committed to their studies.
